To help stretch precious dollars further, enabling them to be spent on services directly helping our friends and neighbors, San Juan United Way helps to channel donationed goods and services to both Partner Agencies and Non-Partner Agencies. As businesses upgrade office furnishings or office machines, the old items can be donated to not-for-profit agencies. Business get a tax benefit and agencies are able to use these still serviceable goods. Individuals too can donate items. Shelters, for example, always need household items, personal care products, bedding, etc.
