While most people know about San Juan United Way’s annual fund raising campaign, the organization actually is involved with many other activities throughout the year such as monitoring the partner agencies receiving funding through the allocation’s process, assessing the needs of San Juan County, providing information and referral services, administering EFSP funding, networking, and serving as a conduit between agency needs and community resources.
Our mission…to provide for those in need today…to prevent the problems of tomorrow means that while we provide safety net services, we also need to work toward finding the root causes of problems facing our community and creating lasting changes that will impact our community.
