There are many ways to become involved with San Juan United Way. Whether you’re an individual or a business owner, you can make a financial contribution to San Juan United Way. Donations aren't always financial. In-kind donations help stretch financial resources further. You can even volunteer your time! There are many volunteer opportunities all year long that can help you be a part of United Way, and your community as well.
Businesses and Organizations too can become involved through our Corporate Cornerstone Program, our Loaned Executive Program or by participating with the Day of Caring.
Become a Community Investment Volunteer
Community Investment volunteers, each of whom are financial contributors, work with United Way to determine how funds that are raised each year will be allocated to United Way Partner Agencies. Their work involves extensive reviews of each agency including site visits, interviews and budget reviews. The volunteers work to ensure each dollar contributed to San Juan United Way is well-spent for the betterment of our community. Download the Community Investment Volunteer form to start the application process.
Recruitment begins in September of each year. If you are a United Way contributor and are interested in volunteering in this capacity, please contact Linda Mickey at 505-326-1195
